If you listen to the video above, you’ll have no doubt why the Athens Middle School Treble Choir brought home top honors from the UIL Concert and Sightreading Evaluation hosted at Whitehouse High School earlier this month.
Our Treble Choir achieved something truly remarkable by clinching the coveted SWEEPSTAKES AWARD, earning superior scores of 1's from the judges in both concert and sightreading. What an incredible accomplishment!
And let's give a round of applause to our Tenor-Bass Choir as well, who delivered an outstanding performance and received excellent scores of 2's in both concert and sightreading!
Congratulations to all our talented students, supportive families, and to Choral Director Bridget Scott!
Athens ISD is a great place to live and learn! 🐝💫
As an Athenian and an AISD grad I am very proud of our AMS choir. As a retired teacher I am even more proud of their director Bridget Railsback Scott, who was our first ever scholarship winner 23 years ago!
Congratulations!
